    This Poor Neglected Blog

This poor neglected blog. No one ever updates, no one ever reads said non-existant updates.

It's been a very uneventful week. (No surprise there). But today I am going to B&N with my dopplerganger and what is better than COFFEE, FRIENDS, and BOOKS? Nothing, that's what.

I have a little character at the back of my head that is just SCREAMING to come out but I can't bloody well get him out!!!! Grr. His name is Boggle, he is part of an albino clan known as the Harpreets. The albinos are photo-sensitive, so they can only come out at night. Harpreets are short, barely reaching the noble height of five feet. Their eyes are big and crimson, and their fingers are five inches long and all the same length. So far I have very few named Harpreets. I have Boggle; his friend everyone calls Owl because his eyes are even bigger than most Harpreets' and because he can turn his head all the way around; King Thaseus, who is, no duh, the king; then I have Jhensi who is one of the only female warriors; and at last I have Drugle, who is the king's wizard.

Another thing about Harpreets is that they don't have "male" and "female" they have "hentrib" and "hentriba". Boggle, Owl, Thaseus and Drugle are all hentribs and Jhensi is a hentriba.

I want to write a book about them but I have NO IDEA WHAT TO WRITE!!!! I am in love with Boggle and Owl, they are so adorable!

Happy Birthday to Me! Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my (official) b-day. I am fourteen. *streamers fall, balloons rise*

A good bit of my birthday week was spent watching a movie matinee of Lord of the Rings, all three of them, extended editions. Believe it or not it was the first time I had ever seen Lord of the Rings, due to the orcs, which turned out to be not that bad at all. As for they movies, they. Were. Awesome.

Ok. The party went well. Sorry, no pics, that is my mom's department. That and the fact that posting pics of myself here would just be hypocritical.

The cake mom made was awesome. It was pretty and almost a shame to cut it, but I'm glad we did because it was goooooooooooooooood. Erm, let's see, the tally for the end of the day was ....

    • Tracfone
    • $104 in cash
    • Heart's Blood by Jane Yolen
    • Bracelet Sarah R. made (wearing it right now)
    • Cute flouncy shirt (the first thing that came out of their mouths was "IT'S NOT BLACK!")
    • Daughtry CD
    • The Fray CD
    • A classical music CD my friend put together for me
    • Jeans
    • The Scarlet Pimpernel on DVD
    • A Lion in Winter DVD
    • Bronze Necklace
    • Bath gels (and lotions)
    • Silver necklace
    • Bermuda shorts
    • Jean jacket
    • Buttons
    • Breyer Horse (appaloosa)
    • Printer ink cartridges

And if there is anything else I missed please forgive me my memory has been failing me of late.

We're watching Signs. Another M. Night Shamalayn movie. So far we've watched The Village and Lady in the Water. Both were pretty good, he's not really as scary as I thought more of a fairy tale with a twisted ending and a moral really.

I want to Barnes and Noble and got The Collector's Edition of all five Cleric Quintet books. It was extremely awesome it is my precious.

Writing a new book. But that's no surprise. It doesn't have a set title so I am simply referring to it as "Puppetmaster: A Psychological Horror". A guy who turns people into marionettes and plays with their lives, and of course I'm having fun with my Harlequin Jester.

Ok not much more to say. I'll update later. Promise.

  • Help Us

America is getting desperate for television. I don't know how many of you have heard about this but they are now making a show about the Geico cavemen. Great. Basically it's a half-hour commercial for Geico, next we'll be getting the Wacky Adventures of the Serta Sheep and the Travelocity Gnome's great quest to become the perfect travel agent.

Oh what we do to entertain our poor weakened minds.

  • Eurovision: France

Ahh. Europe. Everyone loves it, the people, the scenery, the music...
And that is what Eurovision is, all the best bands of Europe get together and perform in a one big battle of the bands. This one just so happens to be France, in case you couldn't tell.

You wanna know the really sad thing about this? It's that this is the best France has to offer. It's not really that the music sucks (although it sort of does) it's the hot pink that gets me. The drummer has WINGS. WINGS!!!!! I don't know what to make of this, what is France trying to say to the rest of the world? I'm scared to find out.

It's the little bald guy in the hot pink women's coat running in time to the music that gets to me. I don't know about you people but he scares me.
    Anyway. Enjoy.

I believe hobbies are in order

My entire family is bored. And as a result, my siblings play non-stop gamecube and lounge around in their pajamas getting routinely underfoot, and my mom cleans. We're deffinately getting our money's worth of the vacuum cleaner.

I believe hobbies are in order here. My hobby (well I guess it counts as a hobby, it generally keeps me out of trouble) is writing. I talk to my friends, I blog, I read, hey, I even clean my own room occasionally.  *plugs ears with wax to block out obnoxious siblings* My dad's hobby appears to be fiddling around on the computer, but my mom and a few certain *glares over shoulder* younger persons are not so easily occupied.

Maybe they do have hobbies, maybe I'm the pathetic lifeform with no life and can't recognize productivity when it smacks me in the face. But I like my existence, thank you, and prefer for it to remain undisturbed. And when I can't even talk on the PHONE for five minutes without being interrupted, something's gotta change.

I suggest a website. *beam of light f alls from the roof and choir continues a steady, mundane chant as a continue* Where all number of persons can go and find a cure for their boredom, one that is so addictive that you cannot bear to tear away from it without tears and wailings and....

    *music halts*

Hold on...we have that, it's called Ebay.

    Darn.

    *beam of light fades*

About Me

  • I love to read, mostly a lot of Sci-Fi Fantasy and sometimes a bit of well-written horror. Books about vampires rock my world. I am an author, or I am working hard to become so, I am currently writing a novel. I listen to lots of gothic rock and I aim to get a tattoo once I hit the age of eighteen. If I cannot get a decent book written down by then I plan to be a filmmaker. My role model for Filmmaking is Tim Burton, for I love all his films. I read a lot of Poe and I love Vincent Price.
